Plumsted for Progress
Design, branding, social media management

Plumsted for Progress is a community organization formed in the summer of 2020 by a group of local residents committed to driving positive change.

The group quickly became a visible and active presence, hosting several high-profile events including a social justice rally that drew more than 250 attendees, two LGBTQ+ Pride celebrations, and a community cleanup initiative, as well as establishing a community garden.

In support of these efforts, I volunteered my expertise in marketing and communications, leading the development of the organization’s official website using Google Sites and creating its logo and visual brand guide. I also provided strategic marketing consultation for events and recruitment, designed promotional graphics, and handled copywriting across platforms.

Additionally, I launched and grew the organization’s public-facing Facebook page, fostered engagement within two private community groups, captured photography at events, and built both the volunteer interest form and newsletter signup system to support ongoing outreach and growth.
